Introducing Callie’s Kiddies. After some initial disagreement - I wanted the babies at the end of the whelping box with the heat pad and heat lamp and Callie kept picking them up and taking them to the other end! We’ve now reached a suitable compromise though as I moved the heat lamp - so whichever end they’re at now - they will have a heat source. Puppies can’t regulate their body temperature for the first three weeks and if they get too cold they lose their ability to feed - so it’s rather important they’re kept warm (whether Mum thinks so - or not)!
