Reagan’s babes have had their first space expansion today. I noticed yesterday they’d started toileting on their own - without Mum stimulating them and cleaning them. Puppies instinctively prefer to toilet away from where they sleep - so we capitalise on this by providing a separate toileting space. These pads are impregnated with something to encourage toileting there. This is our first step in toilet training. The heaters that have been running 24x7 in both rooms have also been turned off today. Puppies are now becoming more able to regulate their body temperature.
